The Autumn Leaf Series is a writing desk that stands out for its unique design elements. The design is inspired by the curling shape of leaves in autumn, with white steel as the raw material. The steel undergoes an imitation copper treatment, presenting a golden color that represents autumn. The shape is modified to make it more suitable for human sitting posture, ensuring comfort and usability.

The main material used in the Autumn Leaf Series is 304 white steel, chosen for its superior corrosion resistance. The production process involves relatively simple steps such as welding and polishing, demonstrating the maturity of the process. The product dimensions are 550mm x 650mm x 800mm, and the processing technology includes blanking, bending, firing, stretching, springback, welding, and polishing.

Wei Jingye's design team, including Wang Yiqin, Zhang Wenyang, and Zou Liyang, faced the challenge of applying a single design element - the curling shape of autumn leaves - to the legs and edges of tables and chairs while maintaining the product's comfort and functionality. The Autumn Leaf Series was designed in Shenyang, with the project starting in March 2022 and completed in June 2022. It was displayed in the museum of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in Shenyang in June 2022. The design is suitable for leisure and entertainment, whether for reading a book, drinking tea, or resting. Its hard, corrosion-resistant material and low-key, shiny color make it a top choice for leisure.
